(CBS) MALIBU, Calif. Two people aboard a 37-foot sailboat found themselves beached on the rocks at Paradise Cove in Malibu and were waiting for the tide to come in to be towed out, authorities said.

Deputies received a call about 2 a.m. Thursday regarding a sailboat stuck on the rocks at Paradise Cove, said a Los Angeles County sheriff's Sergeant at the Malibu Station.

Two people on the boat had dropped anchor at high tide, then found themselves stranded, she said.

Lifeguards were at the scene waiting for the tide to come in so that the 37-foot catamaran could be towed back to the ocean.
